Apple has released iOS 6.1 begin 2013 - more on iAppsclub.com

iOS 6.1 available

Apple has released iOS 6.1. The update is available for all iOS users. There aren't big improvements, because during the beta test were not new features reported. In iOS 6.1 are mainly technical improvements, bug fixes and tweaks for developers. For most users, is there no rush to update your device.

This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including

* LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/).
* Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only).
* iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
*New button to reset the Advertising Identififer.

Jailbreak

Good news for Jailbreakers, because the known Jailbreak developers couldn't wait anymore for Apple's iOS 6.1. Because they have already a jailbreak for iOS 6.1 ready. It is unclear whether the battery in iOS 6.1 is improved. Some end users who have installed iOS 6.1 beta 5 say yes, while developers from the first beta versions is correct to say that the battery life has remained unchanged. As is usually the battery lifetime depends of individual factors.

Available

iOS 6.1 is available for iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad (third and fourth generation), iPad mini, iPad 2 and iPod touch (fourth and fifth generation).
