Sonic Dash app, like Temple Run

Sega released a new game, 'Sonic Dash', it is perhaps the best looking and best version of Temple Run in a long time. In the game you must run, roll and jump through all the levels that the developers have created. Sonic Dash works for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 5.0 or later. Sega will launch Sonic Dash Shortly for Android. The Android game is still under construction.

Sonic Dash gameplay, high score and in-app purchases

Unlike for example the earlier this week released game app 'Temple Run Oz', you don't have to tilt your iPhone or iPad. Instead, you need to swipe to the left or right side between the three courses, where you will run. Meanwhile, you'll be harassed in the game to be ensure that you don't get a new High Score. Later in the game you need to jump over large ravines, and run against thorny obstacles. With fast sweeps and tapping you'll avoids the death. Sometimes you can jump on the enemies and rolling over them by swiping down on the screen.

The number of rings that you'll receive, gives you access to new features in the in-app store. It allows you to upgrade some features, such as a 'magnet' to draw rings to you, but also three other known Sonic characters: Tails, Knuckles and Amy. It will not be the last purchase you make: Sega Sonic Dash promises to provide free updates which will probably bring some new characters. The prices of the in-app purchases are quite high.
