Facebook will be a Mobile Game Publisher: Ads in Exchange for Revenue

Facebook will publish games in the App Store & Android. In exchange for an advertising spot in the Facebook app, Facebook will part of the revenue.

Facebook Will Now Publish Game Apps

Facebook has disclosed to publish games for iOS and Android. The games are developed by other companies who will be working with Facebook to put the game on the market. Facebook will advertise on their mobile Facebook app to promote the game. In return, the social network will receives a portion of the sales which are made ​​in the game. This will makes Facebook a competitor for publishers like Rovio, Zynga, Chillingo and Electronic Arts, but then with a unique promotional opportunity in one of the most popular apps in the App Store.

According to Facebook will the ads appear on the Facebook pages of enthusiastic iOS and Android gamers. So, who often plays strategy games will see for example advertising issued by a Facebook strategy game.
