Fans of the Where's my Water series are likley already familiar with the Where's my Mickey spin-off of the same game theme. The Weather/Physics based puzzle game is a blast. Now Apple has featured it as the App of the Week on iTunes.
Vintage MickeyThe original characters of Where's my Water are no where to be found in the Mouse-themed spin-off, you must help a "retro modern" stylized version of Mickey Mouse get water from the clouds, to help thirsty beach-goers. The graphics, as should be expected from a big-name app developer such as Disney, are stellar. The load times are swift, and the music is decent (although nothing to write home about).
Addicting & Easy GameplayOne of the things I like most about this game (other than it being free), is the simplicity of the game-play. I take it as a good sign when I spend more time actually playing the game than writing the review, and this is particularly true for Where's my Mickey. Having an excellent pace, starting easier and getting more difficult, I have to give extra credit to the puzzle designers.
There's nothing more frustrating then a game that's too difficult to get the hang of - luckily this game avoids that issue completely. Worth Every Penny Especially for Where's my Water fans (or Cut The Rope fans, for that matter) who don't want to shell out the $1.99 for the full app (or more for in-app upgrades) for more levels, this is a steal while it's free - and you do always have the option to add more levels or get hints for an extra price.
