The official app of the online cloud storage service MEGA has been updated. It is the first update since the app appeared a month ago on the App Store.

Two new features are available: a Photo Sync feature and a passcode lock. With Photo Sync, you can automatically upload pictures to your online storage. A similar function is also already available in Dropbox and SkyDrive, but the difference is that MEGA gives you 50GB of free storage. With Dropbox you get 2GB of storage as standard, with SkyDrive from 7 GB.

The passcode option allows you to set a 4-digit passcode that would be required every time you launch the app.

Mega is just an amazing cloud storage app,
as it’s supposed to be one of the more secure cloud storage services available and it offers 50GB of free storage.
