Powerguard is a multipurpose app for those who like to be in complete control of not only their battery life and charging cycles, but also enhanced features for privacy and security.
There are a host of battery-saving, and monitoring iPhone apps, and most offer tips on how to extend your battery life, but the difference with PowerGuard is its multiple additional features that give you more than just a "Power saving" app - lets start by going over some of the more useful options.
Contacts BackupWhether you use iCloud or DropBox (two of the worlds most popular Cloud Storage options), you can easily backup your contacts at any time. Once you've set up your account, its literally one-swipe to backup. Couldn't be easier.
Photo PrivacyWithin PowerGuard you can create a password-protected photo album. Once you've set up the security its easy to import existing photos from your Camera Roll (don't forget to delete them from the main album afterwards) or start taking pictures from right within the app itself. This is fantastic for work-sensitive or otherwise private photos, especially if you let others use your phone.
The only drawback is that you can't save photos directly from sites, emails or messages into the App without saving to main Albums first, although I highly suspect this to be a limitation of the iOS and not of the app.
